Well… Quite a Lot, Actually

Switch to read on blog” (top right) for a much better read – I promise!

Hello from a sweltering Atlanta! As I wrap up this season with rehearsals for a new creation that premieres in August (which definitely counts as next season 😉), I felt this was the perfect moment to pause, look back, and share a little of what’s coming next.

Well, this truly has been a year of new experiences. White Rabbit marked the end of my six wonderful seasons with TanzLuzern and the beginning of a new chapter devoted entirely to choreography. At the same time, PITT Company continued to grow through our I Am, Wir Sind research residencies in Basel and Baden, made possible by an extraordinary team of artists, supporters and funding partners.

To everyone who has been part of that journey, thank you. Whether you’ve collaborated with me, come to a performance, supported a project, taken part in a workshop, or simply followed along from afar, I’m so grateful.

The season took me from Sofia to Rome, Lyon and Atlanta, creating new work, teaching workshops and meeting so many inspiring artists and people along the way. Every city, every studio and every collaboration has reminded me why I love creating and how lucky I am to get to “job” this passion of mine.

So… What’s next?

Well… quite a lot, actually. 😊
I can’t wait and I hope to see you along the way.

A Chorus of One

A Chorus of One
KSU Dance, Georgia, USA
Premiere: 27 August 2026

The piece that’s currently keeping me awake (in the best possible way). It’s been a joy to create with such a generous group of dancers, and I can’t wait to finally share it.
PS – Minouche Briot has made the most fantastic music, again!

Der Schimmelreiter

Der Schimmelreiter

My first full-evening work, with the entire company, live choir and live music. Equal parts exciting and terrifying—which usually means it’s exactly the right challenge.

A Ritual for Disappearing Things

And, that’s only part of what’s coming. There are more projects (and dreams) becoming reality in the background, and I feel incredibly lucky to be stepping into this next season with so many opportunities to create.

None of this happens alone – thank you to everyone who has been part of this so far. If you want to become a member, I’d love that more than you know. I promise I’m not trying to persuade you😉… but if you do, the coffee (and New Year’s apéro) is on me. 🥳 Find out more here

All jokes aside, I genuinely hope our paths cross somewhere along the way. Thanks for joining the ride.

Love from Atlanta,

Phoebe

(at the end of a long, creative day)

With thanks to: Aargauer Kuratorium, Migros Kulturprozent, Daria Nyzankiwska Foundation, Schweizerische Interpretenstiftung, and our PITT Company Members, whose support made this season’s research and touring possible.
