I Am, Wir Sind
March saw a premiere of a new work in Sofia, Bulgaria (“Don’t Worry, Baby“), performances of TRILOGY at Tanzhaus Basel, alongside the first seeds of a new project.
Over the past month, we’ve been immersed in developing I Am, Wir Sind — a new idea exploring cultural ambivalence through movement. The research process has unfolded across residencies at Kurtheater Baden and Tanzhaus Basel.
Our process kept leading us back to questions such as:
Am I myself, or myself through others? Do I perform myself into existence? Am I one self, or many selves in dialogue?

On April 11th, we opened the process to the public with a workshop at Kurtheater Baden. The room filled with raw, generous, and deeply honest artistry. What emerged there continues to shape the work.
“I experienced a really open space where I was able to express myself without words and especially without judgement. Thanks a lot to you and your team!” — Nathalie Hartmann

A week later, we returned for a small showcase—sharing fragments, questions, and more ideas. This is still the beginning, but, here’s a sneak peak…

With thanks to the artists Inbar Elkayam, Lou Landré, Giusy Fanaro, Anna Faustino and Sahadatou Ami Touré for your beautiful work.
This is only the beginning!
