Mathew Prichard

Biography

Mathew Prichard trained at Rambert School, graduating with a 1st Class BA Honours. He performed works by Mark Baldwin, Didy Veldman, and others, and worked with Rambert Dance Company in A Linha Curva and The Creation. He has appeared with Goldfrapp at Glastonbury and on Later… With Jools Holland. Joining National Dance Company Wales in 2017, Mathew performed works by Marcos Morau, Roy Assaf, Caroline Finn, and more. After earning an MA in Contemporary Dance in 2019, he joined Marcat Dance and The Royal Opera. Since July 2020, Mathew has been with Tanz Luzerner Theater, performing works by Ella Rothschild and others. In July 2020, Mathew joined Tanz Luzerner Theater, performing works by Ella Rothschild, Po-Cheng Tsai, Caroline Finn, and Jasmine Morand. Mathew was part of the creation of “Trilogy” and “Inver”, and has toured with PITT since 2021.

Ariadna Llussà Sanz

Biography

Ariadna Llussà trained at the Maria de Ávila Studio in Zaragoza and earned a BA (HONS) in Professional Dance and Performance from the Central School of Ballet, London. She danced with Ballet Central, Ballet Junior de Genève, performing works by Wayne McGregor, Alexander Ekman, and others. Her career includes performances in Sounds of Music (dir. Olivier Dubois), Compañía Plan B danza Sagardoy-Bravo, Cienfuegosdanza, and the Somniu project. Ariadna has participated in the Metamorphosis International Dance Residency in San Sebastián, Shanghai, and Lisbon. She recently performed in La Sonámbula at Teatro Real, Madrid, appeared in the film Polvo Serán by La Veronal, and choreographed for the LaYouth project Hopefully We’ll Meet Again. Ariadna was part of PITT’s research project “Greta Oto” and the duet “Never in a Million Years” in 2024.

Grazia Scarpato

Biography

Grazia was born in Rieti, Italy. She studied Contemporary Dance at Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK), graduating in 2023. She has worked with various renowned choreographers, such as Nadav Zelner, Inbal Pinto, Andrea Miller, Alba Castillo, and Tom Weinberger, to name a few. In 2019, she received a scholarship to join the production of Romeo & Juliet at the Théâtre de l’Opéra in Tunis. In 2021, she toured as part of the Disability on Stage program, with performances across Swiss cities. In the 2022/23 season, Grazia joined TanzLuzern where she is currently dancing.

Jorge García Pérez

Biography

Jorge García Pérez was born in Zaragoza, Spain. He began his professional dance career in Sybaa Ballet, and the year after he moved into Malandain Ballet Biartitz II. In 2005 Heinz Spoerli offered him a contract for the Junior Ballet at the Opera House in Zürich after winning the Gold Medal at Premio Roma International Dance Competition. One year later he was be promoted to Demi-soloist becoming Soloist the season after at the Zürcher Ballett. He moved on in 2008 to work for the Ballett Theater Basel as a Soloist Dancer under the direction of Richard Wherlock and where he danced many of the company’s principal roles for fourteen seasons. In 2023 he moved back to the Ballett Zürich as a Soloist dancer under the direction of Cathy Marston. Since 2016, he has been the Artistic Director at Carta Blanca Dance, a dance company which he has founded together with Permi Jhooti in Basel, Switzerland. Jorge has also been building his own repertory winning several international prizes as a young choreographer in numerous international competitions, as well as for many companies. Throughout the years, Jorge has also assisted many renowned choreographers in re-staging and creating work.

Jorge joined PITT in 2023, for the re-staging and touring of “Trilogy”.

Rosine Ponti

Biography

Rosine was born in 1997. She graduated from HF ZuB, Zurich, in August 2022. During this time, she worked with various choreographers such as Luca Signoretti, Rena Brandenberger, and Milena Büchi. At the end of 2022, she became a member of the MIR company in Basel, directed by Béatrice Goetz, as well as the ONE Dance Company in Winterthur, with whom she presented the premiere of INSECTUM in Athens—a piece she co-choreographed and performed with Nina Pfüller.

In 2023, Rosine danced for the company cie7273 (Geneva, CH) and for Jana Duenner’s piece Skin Care. In the same year, she also worked for Cantus Firmus of Soleure in Solothurn (Switzerland), the film company Rosas & Co (Zurich, CH), and the artistic community Cie Capsule (Biel/Bienne, Switzerland), where she co-directed her next project with Marc Ugolini for a co-production with fOrum culture (Tavannes, Switzerland).

Rosine was also involved as a teacher, giving workshops in schools and teaching in the dance education programme “miniMIR” of the Company MIR in Basel.

Rosine joined PITT for the research project “Greta Oto” and duet “Never in a Million Years” in 2024.

Igli Mezini

Biography

Igli Mezini was born in Tirana, Albania in 1993. An alumni of the National Ballet School of Albania, he is a former dancer and soloist of Cannes Jeune Ballet, Hessisches Staatsballett Wiesbaden/Darmstadt, Ballet Prejocaj, and Compagnie Linga. In 2019 he joined Tanz Luzern, where he is currently dancing. Through his career he works and collaborates internationally with artists such as Jiří Kylián, Fréderic Flamand, Jean- Christophe Maillot, Davide Bombana, Marcos Morau, Angelin Preljocaj, Alexander Ekman, Jerome Bel, Cayetano Soto, Crystal Pite, Marco Goecke, Marguerite Donlon, Tim Plegge, Wayne McGregor, Hofesh Schechter, Alejandro Cerrudo, Jerome Bel, Po Cheng Tsai, Gustavo Ramirez Sansano, Ella Rothschild, Katarzyna Gdaniec, Marco Cantalupo, to name a few. He has been involved in collaborations in the movie industry amongst which “The Great Gatsby”. In September 2020 Igli graduated with a ‘licence in Arts’ recognized by the European Union. He has been invited to lead classes and workshops around Europe, South America, Asia and Australia and currently continues to collaborate internationally as a dancer, teacher and assistant.
Igli was part of the original creation of “Trilogy”.

Cedric Zellweger

Biography

Cedric started working in the field of photography after finishing high school. He continued to take up graphics and film in the following years while studying Economics at the University of Zurich. For a couple of years he is designing visual content for the University of Zurich and Madame Frigo (a non-profit organization acting against food waste) and working on a freelance basis.
